Oh, what a day!

 It seems like I´m back to life!
Spring is here, and I hope it came to stay :)

what I totally love about this years spring are the floral prints!

Je t´aime le vetements avec de fleurs! I´m not so much the person wearing it but I´d like some accsesoires featuring flowers... Anyway, In the last time there´s one person that´s so (in)famous and there´s no way around her anymore.

Lana Del Rey.

To be serious most of my friends hate her,

 but as I´m trying to be honest; here´s MY opinion:

So, first, Lana Del Rey is no real person. Well, just as much as pine aple is. Elizabeth Lizzy Grant built up an art-figure called Lana and it seems like it worked quite well. Lizzys music is one thing, Lanas image another, but you see, that´s not so far away from what sookie and me are doing.
Sookie and Pine Aple are no persons. They are our web-identity.

We gave them a name, an image and opinions but different to Del Rey we didn´t give

them a face to discuss about or a voice to judge about.

So, personaly I do not dislike her studio records. They´re not so much my style but they´re

actually not that bad at all. BUT: Lana Del Rey as the art-project to me is terribly interesting and well done.

The funny thing is it seems like I have a bit of all the characters inside me.

Madeleines&Movies

Hey there, World and Wonderland!

Right after "Carpe Diem" I got up around 7 o´clock this morning and finished the 

Madeleines for which i had to do the batter the day before. 

Anyway before that I need to say something to sookies last post about KONY 2012. Movies like that are there to think about. Being blind and just seeing black and white unfortunately doesn´t help.

So I´ll start of with a little nonsense theme:

 

yes, i did think about this fact and really figured out some true positive aspects of being a movie figure ;) 

1. If i was a good person I would be pretty!

just think of all the Princesses, think of Alice (she´s somehow cute, isn´t she?), 

Tinkerbell or Nala from the Lion King.

2. If I was evil I´d have a crazy laugh!

even better than being pretty...

3. Every sad moment would be followed by a happy second!

4. I´d have my own soundtrack!

And if something bad was about to happen I´d know in advance ;)

5. Love would always find its way!

6. Magic existed 

(at least in the disney movies I watch...)

So, as I have annoyed you enough with stuff like that here´s my weekend-project: Madeleine-Muffins :D as my blogger-friend from Nerdsworld asked me for a Recipe for Madeleines I tried one out and on the right you can see the result! It wasn´t that hard at all and they don´t taste as much like the cookies of the evil side as the stuff I normaly bake does.
But as I don´t own any Madeleine-pan I did them in mini-pans for pralines or mini-muffins... so it´s my variation of Madeleines Classiques but it´s the same thing :)

here´s what you need, the full recipe from smitten kitchen you can find here. 
Classic Madeleines [Madeleines Classiques]
Adapted from Patisserie Lerch, via Paris Sweets
105 grams all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon double-acting baking soda
2 large eggs, at room temperature
100 grams sugar
Grated zest of 1 lemon
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
70 grams unsalted butter, melted and cooled

Bad Girls & Pancakes

Hey there, World and Wonderland! 

I recently found back to an old love of mine: Food :)

it sounds terribly stupid and somehow it is, but i discovered so many yummy sweet snacks...french toast, banana-kiwi-smoothies, waffles, pancakes, fresh orange juice, parfait and all their friends ♥ they'll be my valentine! Any personal food-favourites? Share the love - leave a comment!

Bad Girls Don't Die. 

I'll just start from the beginning and give a short review.

The Plot:

When Alexis’s little sister Kasey becomes obsessed with an antique doll, Alexis thinks nothing of it. Kasey is a weird kid. Period. Alexis is considered weird, too, by the kids in her high school, by her parents, even by her own Goth friends. Things get weirder, though, when the old house they live in starts changing. Doors open and close by themselves; water boils on the unlit stove; and an unplugged air conditioner turns the house cold enough to see their breath in. Kasey is changing, too. Her blue eyes go green and she speaks in old-fashioned language, then forgets chunks of time.

Most disturbing of all is the dangerous new chip on Kasey’s shoulder. The formerly gentle, doll-loving child is gone, and the new Kasey is angry. Alexis is the only one who can stop her sister — but what if that green-eyed girl isn’t even Kasey anymore?

I really liked the book and i loved the way alexis' made friends with people she actually didn't like. It is awesome how the book has this touch of the paranormal and k. allender made me fall in love with carter from his first word on and when he tells Alexis his secret i was so amazed 'cause of this huge amount of emotion in these few words. 

I highly recommend the book to people that like everything between thrillers and love stories. It's simply amazing. I'll be looking out for the sequel From Bad To Cursed.

Shut up and Smile

Her fingers were still cold from the walk home and her mouth still slightly curled upwards from the smile that accompanied her the whole morning long.Hey there!

I´m in a terribly good mood cause i finished my semester-tests!!! two small revisions are following, but still!

so, as i´m riding on a wave of motivation here´s the random blah-blah of the week:

i wish spring was here, cause it´s so terribly long ago that i left the house
WITHOUT tons of clothes i need to wear so i don´t freeze to death
(as some people in russia or sibiria really do, which makes me sad)
I am fed up with running ´round with a blanket wrapped around myself inside the flat.
I´m fed up with seeing pictures of pure sunlight and being jealous.
I´m fed up with wearing tights under my jeans (no, seriously, i am.)

I wish the birds and the sun and the cool spring fashion collections would come back
and even though i know it´s normal to be cold in febuary, i still hate it.

Pretty Little Colourful Things

how time rushes...i´m sorry that i didn´t post anything last week. i simply was too stressed for a trip to wonderland but now i´m back and i need to keep you guys all up to date.

Well, school life was interesting the last time...and yes, geography, physics, math and french ARE thrilling but there´s a new hype that made my homeroom-class even a little more colourful than before. a little genius from my class started doing a pac-man-monster out of post-it-s some time ago and a few days later we had

POST-IT-FEVER!

inspired by the workers in france we started decorating
our windows and it has gotten more than a hype until now.
it´s like and addiction...even though it´s one of the healthiest ones we ever had ^^
a mega-nyang-cat is planned and i´ll keep you guys up to date concerning our sickness.

Hey, Wonderland! Wha´cha doing?

the rapid weather changes that have been "terrorizing" my hometown the last days brought me to my somehow starting theme of my post. because this moment when you open the curtains 
(thanks go to my collegue that was brave enough to do that in school this week)

and the sunlight floods the room is simply wonderful ^^

i realized that all my new years resolutions summed up gave that

I WANNA BECOME A BETTER PERSON

and i guess that´s somehow the sense of all our resolutions, isn´t it?

i´m back to usual life again and had quite a good day being friday the 13th. 

i´m also working on a "project" at the moment that i like to call

faces.

i´m collecting photographs of faces that inspire me 

and i try to capture the best of them in a little self drawn picture.

the faces i used are not always recognizable but i still really like this way of working and it´s

cool to look at the faces of mila kunis, audrey hepburn, this mysterious girl and other people 

(also friends of mine) closer. oh, and if anyone of you knows some other inspiring face please leave a

Hello World & Wonderland!

a few weeks have passed since my last post (including christmas and new years eve) so here´s a little ketchup catch-up-post ^^ first of all me and sookie want to say thank you to all of you that participated in the christmas-special. that was great fun!

the last weeks i spent reading, drawing, photographing, daydreaming and listening to music. i found that the first few lines of the song "Good Feeling" (FloRida) really give me a good feeling.

i also highly recommend the book "The Art of the Disney Pricess" which shows disney princesses in completely new ways. and to be honest, every girl in this world has its own top 3 disney princesses  (mine are belle, tiana and rapunzel ^^). what´s your TOP 3?

greetings go to australia and france which have the pleasure to be the two places where some of my friends are right now and a "thank you" goes downtown to the friend that gave me the fake-snow visibe on the picture on top (it smells horrible but it works).

cooking-love also affected me (again) a week ago. that was when i made my first soufflé:

Guide for this Winter

Booo! Hello World & Wonderland

Before i rush of to study for my french test on wednesday (wish me the best!) i´ll take some time for explaining how i plan to get through winter. So...today it had the first snow of the year in my hometown. And allthough it´s industry-snow that makes us all shiver we enjoy that taste of nature.

So here are some tips for this winter so you don´t drift into unhappiness.

1. Visit a Christmas-Market
   with your friends. Drink some tea, have some biscuits... there´s sure a market like this around.
   
2. Bake biscuits yourself.
   Try out new stuff or use the way your granny did it. Then let friends and family be your experiment-guinny-pig.
    
3. Go outside!
   You don´t have to make snowball fights or build snowmans. Yust take a walk and maybe take some pictures to look at later.
   
4. Make a movie night.
   invite the girls/guys, make a sleepover and watch your favourite movies together.

Lady GaGa-Fans better not read on.

Dear Lady GaGa. Yes, you are a blessed singer/songwriter but why can´t you share your awards with the other fascinating women of this planet? I´m talking ´bout Adele and Béonce. They were nomineed for Best Song, Best Video, Best Female and more... But those awards went to Ms. GaGa... Yes I do like your music and No, i don´t like the hat you wore but i was simply dissapointed.

naked new friend. :)))

I also really enjoyed the moments with Jessie J onstage because she spreads this awesome good feeling. In my eyes she would also be a good host for the next mtv-event. I was absolutely touched when Jessie started talking about Amy. Amy Whinehouse. And it was so damn wonderful when this man said:
"Her songs were quite a good friend of mine."

Winter Spirits ... in Fall?

A lot of fruit-tea, photographing and sleeping brought me through this long halloween weekend wich lasted until thursday for me. So right now they sky is changing into a undefinable grey and i´m looking forward to another chillax-weekend.

It´s me! And today I´m gonna talk a little about Fashion . 

So at the moment there are two huge trends, that really impress me. 

The first one has to do with hollywoods´neverending summer. 

The RayBan-Fever. 

So because stars even wears sunglasses at night this trend didn´t pass any of them! 

Emma Watson, Beoncé, Rob Pattinson... 

They all wear RayBans. And did you ever google those glasses? 

83.000.000 entries! 

That means the web finds more about RayBan-Sunglasses 

that you can find about Queen Elizabeth II (34.100.000 entries)!

And the second Style i really adore is the

College-Jackets, Stockings, OXFORD SHOES!!!

Dear Summer,

I´ll truly miss your hot summer days and short summer-rain-sessions

but to be true... that´s a total lie. 

If seasons were persons my boyfriend would be autumn!

I simply LOVE those foggy mornings, long cozy evenings and those absolutely relaxing thunderstorms. To make it clear:

school-based disorder

oh, and then there´s the thing with school. yes, we are back to school 

but that doesn´t mean that we are back to school life immediately. 

standing up at 6 a.m. and going by bus & tram causes disorder in my mind... 

and in my room. :) Uh... yeah, see it yourself.

oh, you cannot imagine how happy i was when i came into my favourite 

bookshop and saw that the doubled the amount of manga-comics they sell! 

for a comic and animation-freak like me this is paradise! ^3^

so i´m off! enjoy the beginning of autumn.
