You're so right, and WE as the new living generation (and as this the new population)should really do something to help. Not only thouse, who work under the most terrible circumstances, which could be, but also the earth.
All in one i think you're terribly right.

oh ya totally right we saw that video in school and that's why me and my friends said we got to do something against it tomorrow about 10 friends of mine are going to severlal shops in town and ask for fair traded clothing if everyone would do this, as pine aple said,then the companies will recognize that people WANT the workers of their clothes to can survive ond be HAPPY(even if you can survive but you got to fight for that it's not fair).
Maybe some of you guys got an other idea what we(the costumers of sweat-shops) can do to help these people.i can try to spred them if you tell me and if you find a good video about this topic then please tell me cause i'm really interested in that thing.(i got a video but it's in german and takes about 45minutes but i can show you where you can find it though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHl15YO2yL0 you really should watch it but maybe start at min. 30:11 and then watch it till the end)

today we tried to save the world and we DID (at least a little tiny bit which we are really proud of) but still people are getting on my nerves. i know, the "more or less nice" lady behind the cash desk is for sure NOT responsible that people in countries like bangladesh japan china india and so on, get payed that little for their work. but still, i think, it is not helpful if they do as if they'd be stupid or be extra impolite. it's a shame that we went to *20 shops in our hometown and NONE of then has got A SINGLE PIECE OF FAIR TRADED FABRIC!!!!!!!sad eh?

SORRY DO YOU HAVE FAIR TRADE CLOTHES??
"what's fair trade again it's a brand is it?" "no sorry we don't have that stuff" "no and you are the second ones who asked me that today so buy here or leave" "i think we are doing-fair trade-right now but ask my colleg--what?never heard of that" "haven't you seen the thing on tv last week? we don't have fair traded stuff you should go to an altanative shop if you wanna buy sth like that"

WHY DON'T YOU HAVE FAIR TRADE THINGS??
"because,.. ahm we am buy ahhhhhhhhhhhhm suff and ahm you know..we..yes and .. so.. and.. because.. you know..yes..ya sorry..we get things from many different companies and..ya..that's why..so..yes" "i don't know don't ask me"

these were the anwers we got today and i don't regret i'm happy that i might have changed sth..

peace/love/happieness for the world V.I.P. <3

@V.I.P
yupp, it's really strange when you have to explain people that sell clothes what fair trade is.
A small step for us, but a giant step in fashion history...hopeefully. Let's think different.
