Chocolate and Fluff

Hey there, World and Wonderland!

I hope you had a wondaaful time since my last post and I hope for you that weather was
just as gorgeous as it was around here. But even if I really enjoyed the sun I found that
30°C + A lot of Students + Long Lessons = everyone getting annoying.

No matter what, the weekends´ weather doesn´t seem a rosy and so i simply decided to cheer myself up with some brownies. And as our blog is famous for having this certain "fluff" here´s the recipe for all of you
that want to get some of that fluff home.

Best Cocoa Brownies
Adapted from Alice Medrich’s Bittersweet

Makes 16 larger or 25 smaller brownies (the size you see pictured yielded 25)

10 tablespoons (1 1/4 sticks, 5 ounces or 141 grams) unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups (9 7/8 ounces, 280 grams) sugar
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (2 7/8 ounces, 82 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder (natural or Dutch-process)
1/4 teaspoon salt (or a heaping 1/4 teaspoon flaky salt, as I used)
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs, cold
1/2 cup (66 grams, 2 3/8 ounces) all-purpose flour
2/3 cup walnut or pecan pieces (optional)

actually I also wanted to add some pictures but...well...the truth is I burnt 40% of the cake and the rest of it didn´t look that good... but it tasted awesome :)

so before I leave I still take a try to get the boredomness out of your manicure. Here are some awesome colours for your paws ;)

I´ve always had a fable for CaTRICe-stuff (I actually don´t really know why) 

and the three colours I chose just seemed so awesome to me. 

The first one is a minty fellow called  ACid/DC, the second one´s called  

From Dusk to Dawn and it´s a kind of brown that gets a purple touch 

when looking at it in the sun :D and the third one has the 

stunning name Bloody Mary to Go and kick-starts an awesome season!

always nice is nail art. a very simple way of doing this is getting a nail liner at your drugstore. they´re not
availiable everywhere but they make very good with your mani, also when you just do a key-nail.

Lipbalm & Friends!

Hey there! I would still like to add a little part to the BEAUTY-section of our spring-series and give you an insight into the world of lips. Enjoy!

1. THE HELPER
   especially in the colder seasons it´s rather hard to keep your lips from getting cracked.
   Special "first aid" balms are a must have for everyone that wants to give kisses in the snow.

2. THE DAILY DOSE
   A tinted Lipbalm or a tasty Lip Smacker can be your daily friend and follower. If you use Lip Smacker with aroma make sure it doesn´t smell too artificial before you buy it. Tinted Lip balms can be bought in any colour - from dark red till bronze - but don´t forget they´re just tinting, not totally colouring your lips. Tinted lip balm looks best if it matches your outfit.

3.  THE GLAMOURIZER
   Tinted Lipgloss gives the impression that "I wear lipgloss, and I´m fab!".
   It gives everyday life a touch of glamour and also looks best when it matches your outfit.

4. THE TOPPING
   Colourless see-through-lipgloss is usually worn over lipstick or just to give your lips a little glitter.
   It´s not as conspicuous as tinted lipgloss and should (just as gloss in general) not be overused.picture credit
   
   
5. THE ARTIST
   So last here´s the queen of all lips, but killer of kisses.
   Lipstick is rather hard to apply for beginners and is a tiny piece of art. It easily looks blurred,
   but a good way of starting is to wear not so bright colours at the beginning.
   Maybe start with a tone close to your natural lip colour and get more daring with the time.
   A con for wearing bright lipstick: your boyfriend might not like to have the colour all over his face ;)picture credit

In my opinion everyone is beautyful without make up!I think make up shouldn't hide your imperfections but it should make your good features appear better!!!!

BODY
You should always take care of your body! I like to put lotion on always after I take a bath or a shower!! My favourite one is :From 'the body shop' and it smells like jasmin (soooo good) :}





                     

FACE
If your face is read you can buy very inexpensive fountations or concealers!!Over any liquid things you should powder!!!Alverde compact make-up , clinique powder!
And to look more happy add some blush!

EYES
In spring it's always nice to add some color to your eye make-up!
In the drugstore you cam buy EVERY color you would like to have!!!

LIPS
For this spring coral lips are IN!
If you don't like wearing coral you can also wear pink or berry colors,.........
Then add your favourite lipgloss and you are finished!!!


             

SMELLY STUFF
Then put on your favourite body mist and voila
and you are finished and ready for spring!!

Oh, what a day!

 It seems like I´m back to life!
Spring is here, and I hope it came to stay :)

what I totally love about this years spring are the floral prints!

Je t´aime le vetements avec de fleurs! I´m not so much the person wearing it but I´d like some accsesoires featuring flowers... Anyway, In the last time there´s one person that´s so (in)famous and there´s no way around her anymore.

Lana Del Rey.

To be serious most of my friends hate her,

 but as I´m trying to be honest; here´s MY opinion:

So, first, Lana Del Rey is no real person. Well, just as much as pine aple is. Elizabeth Lizzy Grant built up an art-figure called Lana and it seems like it worked quite well. Lizzys music is one thing, Lanas image another, but you see, that´s not so far away from what sookie and me are doing.
Sookie and Pine Aple are no persons. They are our web-identity.

We gave them a name, an image and opinions but different to Del Rey we didn´t give

them a face to discuss about or a voice to judge about.

So, personaly I do not dislike her studio records. They´re not so much my style but they´re

actually not that bad at all. BUT: Lana Del Rey as the art-project to me is terribly interesting and well done.

The funny thing is it seems like I have a bit of all the characters inside me.
